"not overbearingly sad, and not unrealistically happy" i really hoped this is how the storytelling in my writing would come off; not too sad that it bears needing the readers to step back. i like finding ways to try to maintain that sense of distance and outside perspective and glass that we're always on the other side on as onlookers to idols but give enough of a compelling narrative to tell a story that feels believable with characters that feel real enough just underneath what ppl see in passing through a screen. i'm so glad and really happy you said this, bc now i think that the approaches that i've gone for with some of my idol fic have been working and are effective, even to readers who barely know these groups and its members. and re: exo, YEAH LOL THESE B*TCHES HAUNT ME...if wayv actually disbands, i don't want them to haunt me either without a proper sendoff via fic :'( thank you for reading risa <333 i hope you've had a v merry christmas!
