your openings are so strong... i especially love your pacrim one. i think it's so funny what you said about idolverse because i'm so poor at worldbuilding unless it's extrapolation on something established (ie the idolsona canon) or pure projection. i think so many authors are great at making up histories for people in au, you included but i often lean back on canon when i need established restrictions and "truths" to guide plot... much to think about!
