risa thank you... re:idolverse i really do feel that it's so easy to project in au and arguaby in canon too but there's something about directly taking from these "source truths" lol and building upon it that felt intimidating to me at first. it's so interesting to see diff people's takes on a pairing's dynamics within canon. leaning back on the info comes in handy though, like...you could be conning someone into believing something about idols i don't know about bc you manage to bring out the defining traits so strongly in their characterisations i.e. your fic better to have loved and lost! i still think about binho's conversations there sometimes
